get_valuation

Combines a delayed or end-of-day market price with SEC fundamentals to calculate P/E, P/S, P/B, EV/Revenue, and EV/EBITDA, plus market capitalization and enterprise value.

Analysts who want a point-in-time multiples calculation alongside reported fundamentals.

What it does

Combine a live market price (a free, delayed/end-of-day quote — SEC filings never include price) with SEC fundamentals to compute P/E (basic and diluted), P/S, P/B, EV/Revenue, and EV/EBITDA, plus market cap and enterprise value. Flow metrics use TTM when available, otherwise the latest FY; the result states fundamentalsBasis.

Quote context, market capitalization, enterprise value, valuation multiples, and the reported-fundamentals basis used for each calculation.

Who it helps

Analysts who want a point-in-time multiples calculation alongside reported fundamentals.

What to expect

Quote context, market capitalization, enterprise value, valuation multiples, and the reported-fundamentals basis used for each calculation.

Important limits

SEC filings do not provide current share prices. Quote availability depends on configuration; price is delayed or end-of-day, and flow metrics may use TTM or latest FY as stated in the output.

Data sources and verification

EdgarStack uses SEC EDGAR filings and, for applicable tools, SEC XBRL company-facts data. Coverage depends on the issuer, filing, taxonomy tags, and tool inputs. Follow the source filing references and verify material facts against the official filing.
